Sweep Out the Old

Arrived back home a few days ago and cleaned out our refrigerator to rid it of grossly expired foodstuffs (had a pretty amazing collection of years-old jars of deadly, expired victuals...).  It was so satisfying, I'm doing the same with a bunch of collage images, all done sometime in 2014, all somewhat expired although not necessarily deadly...

  1. OMG I love these, Lynn. Do you ever sell your pieces? That last one totally hits home for me. Pest Control is genius.

    1. Many thanks, Claudia. Don't really sell much -- these pieces are all sort of regular collage exercises that get pasted into a series of art journals that I throw into a cupboard. When I did that last one, I was thinking about a book I just finished called "All My Puny Sorrows" by Miriam Toews, a sad but extremely beautiful book about one sister trying to save the other.

  2. What NICE collages!
I LOVE your images, too. Where do you find them?
    Have a good NEW YEAR!
