Kollage Kit Returns...

I was "otherwise engaged" this summer, as were many of my friends on the Kollage Kit website, so we took a summer-long hiatus...but now we're back!

The theme this week is "three pieces of paper" (meaning:  make a simple collage using no more than three pieces).  It's an excellent theme and here are my three pieces for this theme, each with no more than three pieces.

"Array" n. An ordered arrangement of particular things...

The theme for collage on Kollage Kit this week has been "array," and there are a whole collection of lovely pieces posted there.  Some of them look like homages to the artist Peter Blake (well-known for his pop-art arrays) and some are curiosity cabinets waiting to reveal their oddities.  My approach was to mash-up some strange little images for the viewer to de-code:

Some ATC's

This week's theme on Kollage Kit is the artist trading card, nicknamed "ATC" (which I often mistakenly refer to as "AKC"...my apologies to snooty dog lovers everywhere...).  An ATC is always wee-sized (2.5" x 3.5"), and they can be traded like baseball cards, or handed out like business cards, or whatever.  I've never made any before, and spent my morning gluing itsy-bitsy little paper scraps onto itsy-bitsy little black and white cards.  This is a fine way to spend a morning!  Here are six:
