Photo Trouvee Magazine is a beautiful presentation of work by artists who use and/or are inspired by found/vintage/family photographs in their work. Founded by Twiggy Boyer and Juliana Naufel in February 2020, each issue is a treasure. Two recent issues have included some of my collage and book work: Issue 15, which highlighted collaborations between artists, includes several pages of work and information about me and my long-time collaboration partner, Sabine Remy of Dusseldorf, Germany. Issue 16 includes 4 more pages featuring some of my recent collages, including a piece featuring the only photo of MY family that I have used in my work (hint...it's my Mom!!). It is really an honor to be included, so much gratitude to you, Photo Trouvee Magazine!

MASK
"MASK" is a large (14"h x 11"w, extends up to 75") accordion-style artist's book I made in 2019. The panels are created from vintage hand-retouched studio portraits, altered with paper collage and hand-embroidery. The text, which is collaged onto the photos, considers the masks each of us chooses to wear...our "public" faces.

That Day at the Lake
"That Day at the Lake" is a recently-completed artist's book. Background images were printed on tissue paper, and then spray mounted on pages made from remnants of an old player piano roll. The player piano paper is interesting -- ivory colored and very transparent. The Images are collaged from magazine scraps and inkjet pictures, the text is original. Covers are ivory cloth-covered boards, with the cover image printed directly on the book cloth. Size: 7.75"h x 6.0" w, 22 pgs. Here are the beginning pages:
